| The Pacific Northwest A-Cat fleet is very excited to host the 2005 A-Class Catamaran North American Championships. We are looking forward to sharing one of our favorite sailing spots in the Columbia River Gorge.
The dates are: August 15-19
August 15 is the official measurement day.

Friday: There was a nice east wind early this morning. That appears to be dying now. Nine minutes in, the first race was abandoned. The boats are now on the beach waiting for the west wind to fill.
2:00pm - The west wind has filled nicely and the competitors are racing!

As of today (Friday), Pete Melvin and Lars Guck are tied with 14 points. Thursday saw three races in light wind.

Boats will be measured from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday and Monday. This should be an adequate amount of time to measure and certify all participating boats.
